What I had hoped this game would exist.
I'm making this thread mainly to vent my frustrations on what this game could have been over the empty vanquish that information technology currently is. When this game was appear, I retrieve watching videos of the devs showing it off and proudly saying information technology was open up earth, just that worried me. There was nothing to suggest this open earth was going to accept anything in it, and that is exactly how the game has turned out since it launched last year. The game is lacking in imagination, and I personally feel similar it's abandoned s...

Pso2 is a weird recursive cluster♥♥♥♥ of systems that are obsoleted by later systems, over and over, until the stop of chapter half-dozen.
Pso2 NGS is... Xenoblade Chronicles X without the plot or as much content. Worth a play, especially for a price tag of free.

although pso2 nails things like gainsay, boss fights, and a general sense of progression that feels nice. the reverse can be said for its new NGS analogue. I want to dearest this game more than anything, just sega has only shown that they would rather release a terrible unfinished mess and slowly baste "new content" that is only another sparse dead world zone full of reskinned bosses and maybe 2-3 new bosses. The style sega also handles their greenbacks shop is also what is a detriment to the games life. Want to grind your new gear? sure, but theres no target, then you should farm meseta right? sure, but then the store system is blocked off simply for paying players, and what is a lousy excuse for a 3 twenty-four hours pass in a less than favorable "battle pass" makes it all the more than frustrating feel done in an effort to keep players thinking their grind is worthwhile. Sega does know what they are doing in this game. and that'due south funneling 80% of their resources into their cosmetic/cash store, which normally would be fine, just since it ties so heavily into the games core economy. it leaves everything at virulent pricing, making it all the more than frustrating to grind new gear, which volition bring me to my next problem.
With increasing gear and stats being the majority of most rpgs, including pso2. the outcome with these semi monthly-quarterly updates. is that the gear you work hard to grind, upgrade, swipe, and other variations that are extremely expensive like augmenting, Will become almost obsolete considering Sega thinks it is OK to simply forcibly power creep. I sympathise it is a alive service game, but power creeping gear that has only been out for a month is such a poor way to do it.
TL;DR- pso2 base is fun and very enjoyable to progress, NGS is less than fifty-fifty a shell of what pso2 should have been. and Sega should be ashamed of this pathetic alibi of a "sequal"

The State of Phantasy Star
I'm just gonna get right into it, there's three major things that are plaguing this game that has honestly led me to quit the game: Gacha mechanics, gameplay loop, and SEGA refusing to understand what players desire. When I await at other gratis-to-play (or gratis to start) games, I look at games similar Destiny ii, Gild Wars 2, Final Fantasy 14, and Lost Ark. No thing how you expect at information technology, these games offer thousand times more for the same price: Free. Simply despite this, SEGA consistently targets and expects players...
